I'm kinda thinking about tinkering with Nim, didn't have enough time yet really.

I've been getting into Nim recently to play around with for some side projects. It's one of those deceptively powerful and practical languages

Hm, not sure what you mean exactly - do you mean a webserver that uses unix sockets to serve webpages?

Or a server where you can access the underlying socket?

https://github.com/treeform/ws/blob/master/src/ws/jester_extra.nim has a code example with Jester, on hijacking the underlying unix socket to upgrade it to a websocket

Right, you would have to access the socket. I just discovered how to do it with asynchttpserver. So yes, with Jester would need to hack a bit (or patch).

Going forth and back, but I think I will stick with a uWSGI dynlib in the end 😄

Are anyone still using Nim and HTMX? I'm a bit late to the party, but I've created a pretty nifty type-based stack for myself 🙂

But I think I was the one who introduced you to HTMX, so I don't count. I'm still building some side projects with Nim and HTMX
