Hi everyone, I'm Brian, a developer working for a small software company. Doing some POC/sandbox work to prove Courier value to the team, and taking notes for some future side project use as well. I think it's cool that Courier went through YC.

We're looking at some pretty simple use cases for scheduled, and event-driven notifications to a user base. Eg, send a 'missed activity summary' 8am each weekday, or, notify that the user has been assigned to a task. So far it seems that the Inbox and Toast components integrate easily into our React frontend. And, the Node SDK looks very friendly to build into our scheduled jobs and event code. I am seeing a bit of unexpected behavior around the Inbox (notifications not persisting, or being present after a login with missed notifications), but - just a few minutes into looking at that now.

Hi, I'm working for a large holding company Ravago. We're interested in courier for our new product. I've tried to plan a meeting but we had some issues with the timezone settings. Yesterday I tried to get in touch via the request for demo but I didn't receive any confirmation of my request so their might have been an issue. Long story short, we are willing to go for the Business Tier, starting small and see we'll see how it goes.... I'm sorry to be so pushy but our development teams can start within one week....

Hey 🙂 I'm trying out Courier, specifically Courier Push right now, for a project at work. Not sure why I can't add a question in #784600218090995712, but we bumped into a bit of a sticking point and we could reproduce it in the demo (https://reactinappnotification.com/): the API can take up to a second or more to respond with messages from my location (UK). This leads to a really sluggish experience when rendering the inbox or switching between unread/archived. The docs say it uses websockets too but I didn't see any comms on the WS channel when I sent a few test notifications. Just wondering if there's an easy workaround here to get some optimisation, we'd like to use Push over adding Pusher/Ably/whatever in the mix if we can 🙂

Hi there! I'm just setting up notifications for a project at my work using Courier, and similar to the guy above I had a question but don't have permission to ask in #784600218090995712 . Here (https://help.courier.com/en/articles/4918496-courier-api-rate-limits) I saw that you have a rate limit of 20 puts to the Lists API. I am concerned that at peak times this won't be enough for us given the usage patterns we expect to see in our application. Is it possible to configure per-customer rate limits to avoid this, or some other solution?

I want to know if there is some courier client available in react-native and what is the process in steps for push notifications to work in react native?

we help people with rare and chronic conditions learn about their diseases and medication and get support! Currently we're using Salesforce for all our messaging. I'd like to explore switching to a service like courier. I'm interested in learning if it's possible to integrate courier with a telephony system like Genesys Purecloud. Also would like to learn more about what kind of analytics (open rates, optouts, etc.) you provide.
