Update: It is indeed compatible but you have to apply some force to get that slapped onto there

VideoMic GO II Is it possible to have any kind of influence to the internal audioprocessing like changing the threshold of the noisegate?

@sparse-insurance-73178 to diagnose the problem try using the mic with some other app. This will at least let you know that OBS is related to the issue or not. Also try switching the mic to another USB bus.

Not likely to be rode connect. Did you look into the possibility that windows might be turning off power to the USB bus? Also since it started all of a sudden maybe a windows update changed something.

I don't know how to check that windows can disable the USB bus

I think it's possible to see what windows updates were applied and when. And possible to uninstall them.

You might uninstall windows updates that were done about the time the problem started and after.

Also you might try going into settings and installed apps. Sort the list by date. Check to see what was installed and when. You could try uninstalling anything that might possibly have caused the issue. If Rode Connect did cause this you could uninstall from there and recheck.

Hey there! We have a few people in the office here who use PodMic USB here in the office and we use Teams. Obviously, we're a bit biased, but it seems to work great for everyone here 👍

Hi, I have the podmic USB, though I have only used it on discord and it sounds great. I am sure the experience on Teams will be the same.

Just be aware that Teams was (or used to be) hardwired to use audio input 1 ONLY on a Mac. Leading to much frustration if using an audio interface with two mic inputs, and for some reason you chose to to use input 2. Can be fixed using the Audio Midi Setup app but shouldn't need to be really.

right, did this happen when you were using a RØDECaster? or another device?

This was using my NT1 plugged into input 2 of a Focusrite 8i6. It's Microsoft's fault; they only accept audio from the input that the system calls "1". Other chat programs don't have this issue.
