    Bosses not changing target if their main focis is out of range is ridiculously exploitable, but we figures out our error pretty early on

    Yes it applies to all fights. However it never really became an issue in the first 2 fights as normally the boss would have range and line of sight to the one breaking their die. And they didnt as far as i remember have too many "target this specific person" cards.

    We’re playing Dread Company. We also started the encounter at 2hp, 2hp, 2hp, and 1hp after the dreadful story phase preceding the fight. Regaining hit points is hard in this game 😬

    Was a pretty fun fight. Lost 1 Oathsworn and no civilians, playing standard difficulty with the no-peek alt rule for the encounter deck. Also housreuled that a location isn't broken until all 3 dice are broken.

    Thought breaking the worm's face on the first 6 damage was lame, especially since you can target any dice on the location.

    Not quite @Peter . The worm still reacts after every broken die. Also, since you can hit any die in a location, we hit one continuously until it broke. None of that 'whittle each one town to 1 or 2' stuff. So the worm reacted the full eight times. The modified broken location rule I mentioned only affected the attack reduction (remove best attack die/card on attack when a broken location is revealed), so that the worm's bite attacks were only nerfed after we broke all the dice on the head.

    Grim company Warden 2 Cur 1 Witch 0 Huntress 0 (companion) @Shadowborne Games once again this was a tough one with updated rules. Our Witch got jumped in stage 3 and our Huntress had to take another reaction with redraw blanks.

    It's just enough randomness to really throw a wrench in the game plan...plus you can't plan for it ahead of time.
