I have a global install of npm and dendron-cli. Is this why?

    > So if you want to have _b.md come before a.md, you would need to fix the frontmatter title property of the note a.md to be lowercase. thank you this worked, is there any way that this can be done automatically?

    > It says "vault" because those notes are inside a vault that is named "vault" is there anyway to disable the "(vault)" as well?

yeah, that would do it. the way we have the tutorial setup, we have you use the local installation of dendron-cli instead

    Try setting
    workbench.reduceMotion
    to
    off

hey, thanks for the tip on this 😄 looks like with VSCode 1.66 it's set to
    auto
which would break some people's preview if they have it set on the OS level.

    It looks like
    workbench.reduceMotion
was the culprit. (Thanks @User !). If you set this to
    off
    , or Set it under
System Preferences > Accessibility > Display > Reduce motion.
in your Mac system preferences, the preview will be fixed. @User Just a heads up that you don't need to test this out on Mojave anymore 🙂

Yes, it's a VSCode setting, so it be set via the UI
    File > Preferences > Settings
    or the
    settings.json

Interesting, that would explain why I didn't notice that in my testing with my black theme

Would probably guess it is a Microsoft caused issue then. Someone messed up the CSS before release and it didn't get caught

Some of my extensions are not working, it seems in 1.66. For example, https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=ban.spellright Is anybody else seeing this? Not sure if related but all was fine yesterday...

i can only recommend the insiders version. I use nothing else for years and had only once or twice minor issues

Why would that be different? Is it not simply even further ahead and thus potentially less stable? Am I missing something?

I don't know about this issue in particular, but it's updated daily. So yeah you could see it as 'less stable', which in reality I never felt it is. But you can also see it as issue are fixed faster and new features earlier
