Hello everyone, probably it has already been asked, but is it possible to rename root.md to something else and change the config in root.schema.yml?

This is unfortunately not possible at the moment due to internal workings of Dendron, according to the [FAQ](https://wiki.dendron.so/notes/683740e3-70ce-4a47-a1f4-1f140e80b558/#what-can-i-do-with-the--note)

Oh, thanks @User , my concern was renaming root.md to README.md to use the export to markdown, since it would have made an easy work on posting on github 🙂 I'll continue manually renaming it then 🙂

FYI, if you want the README to show up on the frontpage of the repo in GitHub, but not in Dendron, you can put it in a hidden
    .github
    folder according to https://docs.github.com/en/repositories/managing-your-repositorys-settings-and-features/customizing-your-repository/about-readmes#about-readmes

I have the following error - which it believe is caused with a problem with the front matter - does anybody have any thoughts?

I just wanted to have the root and readme to be the same, I'll just create a README.md file as the starting point and completely ignore root.md then 🙂

question about note previews in pages (using the
    ![[...]]
syntax: How can I set it up so that the preview shows everything until the first heading? Until now I have just used a stub
    ###### _
-heading and linked to that, but i don't find that to be ideal

+ i think that the documentation on this feature could be improved :)

Agree, could you please open a documentation issue at https://github.com/dendronhq/dendron-site/issues/new?assignees=ryan-p-randall%2Ccconrad&labels=docs&template=documentation.yml ?

I was about to write an issue, but found this page: https://wiki.dendron.so/notes/f1af56bb-db27-47ae-8406-61a98de6c78c/ It already looks quite complete and also helped me with my problem, I just created a tag using
    ^start

I think the problem I had was just finding the relevant docs, I wasn't quite sure where to look ("user guide"? "guides"? "reference"?)

Hi ya'll, having an odd error pop up all of a sudden while I'm actively typing and making edits.
Cannot read property 'title' of undefined
Not quite sure what I did to break something 😆 Nothing related shows in the dendron logs. I did see the
Cannot read property 'name' of undefined
in the FAQ/Troubleshooting guide but I started using Dendron just in the past few months, long after the .47 release looks like.

Also interested in this, as I have seen the same error in my installation, though it did not seem to affect functionality negatively

Yea same thing here, no negative impacts that I can see. Pretty sure I didn't break the headers in any of my notes either, which is where I looked first.

Does the error happen again after a reload? If it does, please send a bug report with the logs (Dendron:Dev: Open Logs, then attach to the bug report or message me)

If it happens again, would love a bug report for this too. The logs should tell us why the error happened.

Hey fam! I am exploring using Dendron with my team at work and syncing via GH repo. I created a fresh workspace and the one vault inside it just to make sure there's no funky interactions with my existing personal workspace, after I make sure things are set up well I know that I can pull the vault into my workspace too.

    02/17/2022, 6:24 PM
Question is: where do I init the git repo on my local disk? In the vault dir or one level up at the workspace level?

I think I should be doing it at the vault level when sharing a vault, but looking through the docs and scratching my head

yeah, this is a common point of confusion right now. you should do it in both places: vaults are individual repos and a workspace is a repo that contains pointers to your other repos. see here for an example: https://wiki.dendron.so/notes/6DZiBObwhZNYRjnokQ422.html

we are actively working on simplifying this process. see proposal and discussion on self contained vaults: https://github.com/dendronhq/dendron/discussions/2349

But my teammates should basically be creating their own workspaces and adding the vault? Why should I want to share a workspace as opposed to just a vault? (not rhetorical, I'm trying to understand)

I'm gradually moving notes from Joplin and Drafts into Dendron - manually because I want to be sure that the hierarchy works for me. The process is slow, but I'm not really in much of a hurry. Adding images isn't as easy in Dendron as Joplin, but it sort of works - and "sort of" is what I want to ask. I get a link like this -
    ![](/assets/images/2022-02-17-22-31-35.png)
for the image, and the image itself exists in
    assets/images
, but I'm only seeing the broken pane in preview suggesting that Dendron can't find the image. I've closed the preview pane and re-opened it, but the images still don't show. What am I missing?

do you see the image if you remove the initial
    /
    before
    /assets
    ?
