I believe files are copied and not moved, but as always, if you aren't sure, just make a backup copy.

I think you can name a vault on creation, but I'm not sure if there's a way to rename a vault through the UI

Dendron doesn't use folders, unless you're talking about vaults, so I'm not sure what your setup is and what kind of results you're going to get, but the command to view your notes as a graph from inside VSCode is

if I understand correctly what you're asking here, just adding an exclamation point in front of a wiklink should make it a reference, e.g.

About fixFrontmatter Hi all When publishing, I have an error when titles are not quoted. When I use fixFrontmatter, I noticed that all titles quotes are removed 😭 What should be the correct syntax? If titles should be quoted, then I'll create an issue in github.

Not the VSCode itself, unless there's an extension for it already. But we'd be happy to accept a contribution to Dendron if you are experinced with TypeScript. Otherwise there is an admonition feature request for Dendron, we'd love it if you can share this link there: https://github.com/dendronhq/dendron/issues/1287

Anyone seen this Preview feature bug? Where: - Preview appears fine - Go back to markdown - Then back to Preview and the first bold words under a heading has a strange syntax - Go back to markdown, change something - Then back to Preview and the error is gone So weird!

hi -- if I'm programmatically generating dendron files, should I leave the "id" field blank or generate it myself? will dendron get confused if it sees a note with an id but didnt generate that id itself?

You're free to generate anything for the IDs. Dendron reads all notes it doesn't know about on startup. Dendron generates `nanoid`s, `UUID`s are also good. You can also use anything else, but the ID needs to be unique.

That does look weird! Please feel free to report the bug, although that looks like the builtin preview of VSCode. The Dendron preview should probably be more reliable unless you are relying on some feature of the builtin preview.
