Should I have BOTH extensions, Dendron Markdown Preview Enhanced and Markdown Preview Enhanced, enabled at teh same time? Or can I get rid of the original MPE?

@User It is no longer possible to copy the text from Preview and paste it into Word, OneNote, Outlook, etc. with styling preserved. This used to work perfectly but now the styles and fonts are all different. Can we please have this super-convenient functionality back? Pinging you as you have been fixing similar issues (inability to copy/paste plain text). I have mentioned this issue before but I see it is still there in 80.3, I think it began several versions back. Should I make a separate issue for this? This really was the fastest (and really the only) way I had to get the content out of Dendron with Preview formatting intact. If there is another easy way I am all ears.

I'm guessing that the fix we made a few weeks ago to allow copying plain text out of the preview broke being able to copy styled text. I've seen apps give me the option of "paste" vs "paste as plain text" before, so it should be possible to do both. I actually wasn't the person who made that fix 😅 but I would recommend sending a new bug report so it gets prioritized.

That's good to know, thanks. We'll figure out what broke it. I have some slack in my schedule for this week, so I'll make sure to pick this up if no one else does.

If I need formatting I usually use pandoc which covers all my needs

Does dendron have a recommendation on using one vault vs multiple vaults? I’m thinking one vault is maybe better. But was also thinking of one for work and one for personal

I use one for work (local only) and two remote vaults one for personal and one for my knowledge base

Why git submodules? I admit I always struggled when I tried using them but I don't see a need here. Of course I do not have my complete Dendron workspace in git. Then it may be different

I’m just trying to think of how to reconcile my work notes and personal notes without taking company information off the machine and also syncing my other notes there

Take a look at the two vault types: local and remote. I have personal stuff in private git repos and use

dendron: workspace sync

regularly to update between my work laptop, my private one and mobile. My work notes are in a local vault and only get backed up within the work environment.

For me that works well and allows me to look up parts of my personal knowledge base at work while keeping the work notes clearly separate
