This is a great app for accessing dendron notes! especially the webdav since I use that instead of git Have you found a way to display images and assets? Dendron links to assets with (/assets/bla.jpg) but 1Writer doesn't recognize that. But it does recognize (assets/bla.jpg)

Glad you find that app useful! I haven't found a way to display those, unfortunately. I don't tend to use that feature much. Maybe someone else knows a way to change that configuration in Dendron?

@foureyedsoul @User Dendron supports both actually, so you can use
    assets/bla.jpg
and it should work in Dendron. Let us know if it doesn't, that would be a bug!

Yes, it all seems to work fine everywhere with just assets/ in dendron, thanks 😄

Has anyone found a good application option for Android that integrates well with a vault stored on OneDrive? I used to use OneSync and Markor. I really enjoyed that integration, but now my company's security has locked down OneSync and that is no longer an option.

if you're comfortable self hosting, syncthing has worked well for folks. otherwise, using git + git journal. note that both of these solutions would be using an alternative to onedrive

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm familiar with Syncthing but I'm trying to keep my notes available everywhere, at work, home and mobile. Syncthing is not allowed on my work machine. Perhaps I'll get back to Git but I sometimes forget to commit my changes before leaving work and then I end up with out of sync repos if I work at home.... Perhaps I'll try again. I like the option of just saving and my notes are available everywhere without much extra work.

I've been writing https://GitHub.com/GitJournal/git-auto-sync for auto commiting + pushing to any git repo. However so far it mostly only works on OSX and Linux.

Okie! I'll install a Windows VM and try to see what I can do to make it work.

Would it make sense to fork GitJournal and add some features that would help integration with a Dendron repo?

I'd be open to adding those features in GitJournal if someone wants to contribute.

To everyone using GitJournal on their phones: When you create a new note, what do you do about the frontmatter? It won't create anything in the dendron format by itself obviously

And does that work with dendron OK? It doesn't need a unique id field? I never realised there was a yaml header or note metadata setting!

Sorry I didn't see this! It works well for me. The unique I'd I've noticed will change once I open it back in dendron

Dendron frontmatter differs slightly from Gitjournal frontmatter. I chose different names for created and updated since at least atm the format is dierent. After syncing I run
    Dendron Doctor
which adds the missing parts. Works without issues for me.

Any tips on how to deal with merge conflicts on a mobile? Using MGit on Android but see no way to make comparisons or do a manual merge.

merge conflicts are not great on mobile. generally would avoid settling non-trivial merge conflicts unless your ate desktop
